How to Set Up Your Donkey Silent Disco Transmitter
Setting up your Donkey transmitter takes less than a minute. Follow these simple steps:
- Plug Into Mains Power: Connect the 12V DC power adapter into the back of the Donkey transmitter and plug it into a wall outlet. The power indicator lights will turn on.
- Connect Audio Source: Plug your phone, tablet, laptop, or DJ mixer into the 3.5mm Aux audio input using the provided audio cable (or RCA adapter).
- Select Broadcast Channel: Press the Frequency / Channel button on the front panel to select Channel 1, 2, or 3. The channel color on the display will reflect your active channel (Red = Channel 1, Green = Channel 2, Blue = Channel 3).
- Verify Visual Equalizer: Play music on your source device and turn the volume up to 80–90%. Look at the LED visual equalizer on the front of the Donkey—the blue lights will bounce in time to the music to confirm audio transmission.
- Tune Headphones: Power on your Silent Disco headphones and select the matching channel color to enjoy crystal-clear stereo sound!
