What a summer it’s been for Silent Disco King! From getting lost in the woods at Forbidden Forest to dancing on the Cornish coast at Boardmasters, we’ve spent the last few months cleaning, charging, and taking our Silent Disco headphones all over the UK and overseas, delivering hours and hours of summer fun.
There’s been late nights, questionable dance moves, absolutely deafening singalongs, plenty of sore feet and, of course, a LOT of glowing headphones. So, before we start counting down to next summer, here’s a little look back at some of our favourite moments from festival season 2026.
Forbidden Forest
We kicked things off deep in the woods at Forbidden Forest, and it was definitely one way to start the summer.
Once the sun went down, the whole place transformed. The trees were lit up, the music was going, and the silent disco became the perfect way to finish off the day. What a scenic view it was! Picture hundreds of people dancing together in the middle of a forest at night and all you can see is a sea of glowing headphones and people absolutely losing themselves in the music.
Safe to say, Forbidden Forest set the bar pretty high for the rest of the season!
2000Trees
Then came 2000Trees, where things got slightly more chaotic.
With stage dives happening to our right and full-blown mosh pits to our left, it was exactly the kind of festival madness we love. But the highlight had to be watching the World Cup quarter-final, silent disco style.
Hundreds of people tuned into the match through their headphones, all watching together and somehow managing to scream at the ref, celebrate a goal, and chant Hey Jude by The Beatles in almost perfect unison. It was one of those slightly surreal festival moments that you couldn't really plan for, but definitely won't forget.
Although... We're still a little sore about the World Cup.
Sun, Sea & Silent Disco: Boardmasters!
From the forest to the coast, next up was Boardmasters.
With the Cornish coastline as the backdrop, the silent disco was the perfect way to kick off the festival's nightlife. The silent disco had the fabulous job of warming up campers for acts such as Tinie Tempah, Kasabian, Lily Allen along with all the other extraordinary artists.
But let's flash back to the silent disco for a second as we were back on the Main stage pumping out pop and indie bangers. Rickie & Melvin went head-to-head behind the decks, while Dean McCullough had thousands of people singing along to pop classics overlooking the ocean. From 8pm until 1am, there was no shortage of dancing, questionable singing and some very happy festival-goers.

Reading: The Final Celebration
And then, just like that, it was time for the final festival of the summer.
Reading Festival is still living in our heads rent-free. While the days were packed with catching incredible artists and filming staff TikTok dances, the arena transformed each night into a glowing sea of silent disco headphones.

The Gallery bought pure nostalgia as the crowd screamed “Mr Brightside” completely off key. The Yard delivered those essential house two-step beats, while The Canopy served as the home for all pop royalty. Over at The Ballroom, everyone was left with sore voices and tired feet, though certainly not from doing the Cha-Cha and the Smirnoff Stage rounded out the night by offering the absolute best of all worlds.
While we loved every single one of them, everyone definitely walked away with their own personal favourite.
After months of festivals, it felt like the perfect way to finish things off: one last massive crowd, one last huge singalong, and one last excuse to keep dancing until we physically couldn't anymore.
We walked away with sore feet, absolutely no voice and a camera roll full of memories. Not a bad way to end the summer, if you ask us.

And just like that, festival season 2026 is officially in the books.
