The summer festival season is now over and what a season we had! Silent Disco King went out in style.
The Beginning
In June, we headed over to the Isle of Wight Festival to kick-start our summer. Silent Disco Kings and Propaganda took to the stage going head-to-head for the first time to the sound of 'It's Coming Home' rumbling around Newport.
NASS Injection
The intensity was cranked up to max when we arrived at party-hard, raw action sports and music festival NASS. As heavyweight drum n' bass masters Sika took to the stage producing a high-octane battle against Silent Disco Kings and Propaganda.
Lighting up the Cotswolds
We returned to the Cotswolds this year to give the people of Nibley just what they'd been waiting for, another ever-popular silent disco just bigger than the year before. They showed us just 'what makes them beautiful'.
Cult like following at Trees
The Main Stage was taken over by huge inflatable headphones which stood tall against Djs Propaganda and Silent Disco King for a night of head-banging classics and sing-along anthems. Festival-goers soon flooded The Cave and The Main Stage every night to join the silent disco which looked more like a cult.
Kendal Called For Silent Disco
Returning to the Beautiful Lake District, stacked with more headphones than the year previous. We couldn't wait to give wonderful people of Kendal what they wanted, another epic silent disco. Demand for the silent disco was so high that we sold out of headphones within 30 minutes.
In-da Big Top at Camp Bestival
Family-friendly Camp Bestival saw the return of Silent Disco King with 'potty party people' Junior Jungle and the 'bogey' loving comedy duo, Dick and Dom. Families of all ages partied on until the early morning singing Christmas songs and dancing to movie theme tunes and enjoying the thoroughly entertaining set.
The Biggest Ever Silent Disco
Silent Disco Kings and Propaganda fronted the biggest ever silent disco delivering pulsating tunes and good vibes to a sea of 18,000 people. Even people who were unable to get headphones still turned up and joined in. The thunderous sound of 18,000 festival-goers singing huge hits resonated along the Cornish coast- especially when they started singing Jeremy Corbin along to the sound of The White Stripes- 7 Nation Army.
Experimental Silent Disco
Math-rock festival ArcTanGent got experimental, producing a captivating live-band set that was awesomely executed by the band GALLOPS- but they didn't stop there! Silent Disco Karaoke was introduced to the lineup which saw festival-goers own the stage singing songs of their choice.
Hallo Nederlands
Why settle for 18,000 headphones when you can deliver 20,000? A week after hosting the largest silent disco we soon smashed our previous record. We traveled to the Netherlands to deliver another epic silent disco. We soon discovered there was a 'black market' of people selling on their headphones as there was such a demand to attend the silent disco.
Ending In Style
Silent Disco Kings, Propaganda and Sika Records ended the festival season in style, partying until the earlier hours of the morning with 15,000 eager festivalgoers. The sound of people of people singing boomed across the campsites.
It put an end to another incredible summer festival season - our biggest so far.
