Silent Disco King made a triumphant return to Pinkpop Festival 2024, held in the vibrant south of the Netherlands in Landgraaf—a true home away from home for us.

Pinkpop is not just any festival; it's the granddaddy of them all in the pop and rock world, and it's an absolute favourite of ours for spreading the Silent Disco magic. This festival is always buzzing with friends and families, friendly faces, and fun vibes, all coming together to create unforgettable memories.

Marking our 4th year at Pinkpop, we felt that familiar thrill the moment we saw the iconic ‘doll’ logo and pink branding as we collected our passes.

Silent Disco King kicked off the festival at the awe-inspiring Desperados stage in the Pinkpop Campsite at 7pm on Thursday night. Our team, along with thousands of eager festival-goers, brought the lively spirit of the Netherlands with us as we handed out Silent Disco headphones and packed into the tent.

From front to back, the venue was bursting with energy as the crowd sang everything from ‘Free From Desire’ to Dutch party anthems. The night kicked off with a bang as conga lines weaved through the crowd, who were lost in singalongs on the other Silent Disco channel. The ecstatic atmosphere carried on until the early hours, giving our team a tantalising taste of the fun to come in the days ahead.

The dedicated Silent Disco area within the arena, affectionately named ‘De Stille Jan’ after the festival founder, hosted a stellar lineup of artists and DJs. The legendary Dutch folk band ‘TräckSäck & Vrienden’ returned with their accordions, enchanting the Silent Disco crowd, young and old alike.

Every day, the Silent Disco proved incredibly popular, keeping our team busy from start to finish. We entertained masses of festival-goers, from first-timers curious about the Silent Disco experience to regulars who couldn't get enough and came back every few hours for their fix.

As the sun set on Sunday night and the distant sounds of Ed Sheeran's set echoed, the Silent Disco Arena remained packed with happy, smiling faces singing their hearts out. They soaked up every last drop of the Silent Disco, a true testament to the joy and entertainment we bring.
